This post pulls together a set of photos taken on the 23rd February from the south facing 18th floor terrace of the 103 Colmore Row building and shows in mapped format what can be seen of the Birmingham skyline particularly of some great modern and classic architecture. 

Enjoy with our compliments this circular trail (walk, run or cycle) of some of the city's great modern architectural gems.  Duration of the trail if walking: 2-3 hours.   

Take this trail (walk, cycle or bus) between Perrott's Folly and Sarehole Mill and enjoy many of the places connected with the world renowned author, J.R.R. Tolkien during his time in Birmingham between 1895 and 1911.
